Knox County in western Illinois is home to private Happy Hollow Lake. Built in 1963, Happy Hollow Lake offers 30 acres of cool, refreshing water. Very close by is another lake, Happy Hollow Lake 2, which is 15 acres. The two lakes are part of a small community that is maintained by the Happy Hollow Lake Association.
